About

I can remember being a young boy, wildly experimenting with ingredients in the kitchen—never quite knowing what I was doing, but hoping it would taste amazing. What I didn’t know then was what it would lead to or where I would end up. Looking back now, I am not at all surprised that it resulted in this. I guess you could say that it was destiny.

The culmination of all those years, all those experiments, all those failures, and all those successes has led to a dream come true: the creation of Saucy Picasceau. I set out to create a line of sauces, seasonings, and rubs that embodies the art and creativity of food—another layer of flavor impacting the palate with wonder, upon another layer of flavor, piquing the curiosity of understanding how it all comes together, ultimately leading to the thorough enjoyment of each creation.

Here you will find 40 years of experience, a love for food, and a passion for creativity in every product I make. Enjoy the ride, and keep it saucy!

Each seasoning is bottled with a color-indicating food grade silica packet.  What's neat is that it is reusable!  On the packet, the color orange indicates that it is ready to use. As it absorbs the moisture, it eventually turns dark green, signaling that it needs to be 'recharged'.  To do that, simply take the packet and heat it in the microwave for about 5 minutes or in the oven for 30 minutes to 2 hours at 200-250 degrees.  Or you can even set it out in the sunlight for a couple of days.  It's as simple as that!  Be careful not to overheat, so start with a shorter time and increase it when needed!
